For your consideration…
Ok, so I am just going to say it. For the first time ever…over 10 years…I did not want to sit down and write this blog. All day long I have been struggling to keep love, light, and HOPE present and forward. Because I personally feel ashamed, saddened, sickened, disappointed, heartsick about how we have left our friends and women in Afghanistan. I am terrified for them.
Integrity counts on us doing the right thing even when we don’t want to or it isn’t popular.
It is hard to find HOPE some days. But we are reminded…I have been reminded…that there is always HOPE. There is always light in the love of our Creator. It is the cornerstone of our Faith. When we feel it is being put to the test, that is when we just have to Let go and Let God.
That is our HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Pray for the Afghanistans. Pray for protection for the Afghanistan women and children.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-Catching up with Alex and James.
-A good book.
-Peace in our home.
-Louie and I got in a good walk.
