For your consideration…

At first, I thought this was an odd message for the middle of summer. I guess I think of clearing our spaces in the same context as spring cleaning. But as I asked for clarification, I was made to understand that, of course, as always, it is perfect.

We have had a couple of messages in the last couple of days about taking care of ourselves. Today’s message is another suggestion on how we can help ourselves do that.

Of course, a clean, clear work and home environment is always good for us. Getting rid of clutter, getting rid of what no longer serves us, is good for us. But today’s message goes a little deeper than “stuff.” It tells us that clearing our space is also about tasks. Getting rid of or completing tasks that are hanging over us. Perhaps we have them because they are something we don’t want to do like making phone calls, getting business stuff done, making appointments, errands, etc. They don’t have to be big things to clutter our minds and hearts. Anything that is not worrying us is clutter that we need to clear. We need to find a way to get it off of our plate.

So we might say that some of the clutter is something we can not do or fix. True, but we can clear it. We can turn it over to our Guidance.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Put our bare feet to Mother Earth. Soak up her sunshine.

-Clear our space.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A big nap, something I never do.

-An evening walk.

-Catching up with Cathy.

-A relaxing day. Frankly, I don’t know where the time went.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
