Vision Quest

For your consideration…….

Do you ever look around and find yourself wondering what in the world is going on? It is everywhere, isn’t it? Nothing seems as it was. We are moving into a new time….an exciting new time. Everywhere people are “waking up” whether they know it or not.

And so today we are reminded to listen. Not only with our ears. We are reminded to listen with our whole body, mind and soul. It has been mentioned and inferred many times before that we are given messages 24/7. We are never alone with anything big or small. We need to start to listen, trust what we hear and act accordingly.

Recently my sister-in-law, Ginger and I were talking about how during the course of our work careers we would see decisions that were just so stupid we led ourselves to believe that we just must not have all of the facts. We must be missing an important piece of the puzzle. Yet, low and behold, it would turn our that the decision was indeed just stupid. The point here is that we all have a tendency at times to second guess and discount the truth we hear or know.

Sometimes, often in fact, we just hear what we need to know. We may not know why we hear the message. I must suggest that is because it is not normally important. We hear our guidance and we are being encouraged to act accordingly.

Yesterday, I substituted in a preschool. It was a great day. At the end of the morning class most of the students had gotten on the bus to go home. There were a couple of children waiting for pick up. One of the mothers came in and was talking to the other teacher. Her son was already in the hall. This child had been perfect all day. I caught him watching me a few times and I would just smile at him. Now I saw him watching me again. I was prompted to just open my arms wide. I didn’t stop to question why. I just did it. This child came running from the hall and flew into my arms for a hug. I will probably never know why that was important. But I hear that it was. I knew I had to listen to that voice and do as I was prompted. I give you this example because questioning or doubting myself would have cost us this precious moment. Who am I to question such a simple request? Did I need to know why? No, no I didn’t and still don’t.

Hearing our Guidance is a tremendous ability our Creator gave us. Today we are being reminded to use our ability to listen and act accordingly. That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate. Through meditation we become accustomed to hearing our Guidance. It is the practice we need to get back on the spiritual frequency.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. If you can, include some stretches with them.

-Drink lots of water.

-Follow those inspirations that pop up. You are hearing them for a reason. Listen and act.

What made me smile yesterday……

-A great school day. I saw so much HOPE.

-Singing

-My neighbor is home. I picked Jone up at the airport and we went out for a wonderful dinner.

-PJ’s by 8:00.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
