For your consideration…

Today’s message is all about little bumps in our road…little irritations in our day. What should be easy and straight forward just isn’t. We may become frustrated. Frustration is a product of our ego. There is another way to consider these interruptions. We can stop and ask why.

So in comes the wren to today’s message. The wren is resourceful, bold, adaptable, and persistent. It is little with a big voice and never thinks twice about interrupting. When a wren shows up (or irritations) we need to ask some questions (from Animal-Speak by Ted Andrews);

-Are you using the resources available to you?

-Are you so wrapped up in daily worries that you are forgetting to sing?

-Are you not staying grounded?

-Are you not seeing the forest because of the trees?

-Are you not attacking your life with enough gusto?

“Wren holds the medicine for using what is available, and it can teach you the most effective means to build within your own environment.”

One little bird, so much power. One little soul, so much power. Shift from the ego perspective to the soul’s.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm..“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Use the resources around us.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day…perfect.

-Finished a good mystery.

-Alex is home.

-Alex, Shannon, and I went out to dinner.

-Alex is helping me set up a workout area downstairs.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
