For your consideration…

A few choice words, well-chosen words, can have more impact than hours-long diatribes.

We all do it. There are people we “tune out.”  Whether it is because we have other things on our mind or…lets face it…there are people who talk just to talk. Some people can not accept silence as an option when there are other people present.

So no judgment. We all do it. We all have it done to us sometimes.

But here is the message, “Don’t make a habit of it.” We are asked to consider our words and their impact. If we really want to make a point, if it is important, don’t fill the conversation with meaningless chatter first. Consider thinking about what we want to say, get clarity, make sure we have the target audience’s attention, then speak the words with the emotion and body language that matches them.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Make our words count.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A good long walk.

-A beautiful sunny day.

-I fixed my shower leak and installed “Easy Giggles” on the master bath toilet. I’m pretty proud of myself.

-Errands run and then Louie and I took dinner over to Pam’s for a visit with her and Bently.

-Alex came home for a visit.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,
