For your consideration…

Recently during a celebration of life for a small child, her dad said, “Life isn’t fair. We should not teach our children that it is.” That sounds bitter but that was not what he meant. He was remarking on how during the two years his sweet daughter fought DIPG, she never complained. Somehow she knew and accepted her journey. It was enough for her that she knew how loved she was by her family, friends, and God. That brings her family comfort.

Our message today tells us today that our journey, our life purpose, is ours alone. It is our opportunity. It is our gift from our Creator. Comparing it to anyone else’s serves no purpose.

What we can do…are asked to do…is walk our journey with love for ourselves and others. That is enough.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Love.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be confident and comfortable in the life purpose you were born with.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Erica come and I was able to get errands done.

-I installed the new toilet seat and the handheld showerhead.

-A good book.

-Catchin up with Pam, Bob, and Carol.

Rev. Chris
