For your consideration…
What was the first thought that came to your mind when you heard the words blind faith? Is it good or bad? What is your opinion?
Like most everything else, it depends on whether or not it is warranted…deserved…earned.
Today’s message is about our Spiritual Faith. The Faith in our God. It never needs questioning even though we often do. Why is it that our faith in God needs to be blind. The answer is simple…because we simply could not handle knowing. We could not handle knowing what our entire life would/will be. Most of us simply could not handle knowing all of the trial and tribulations we would/will face in a lifetime.
We have blind faith because we know, like we know, like we know that God has it handled. Everything has a time and purpose that is perfect.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Stop fretting…have blind faith…God has it handled.
What made me smile yesterday…
-I had a brainstorm and figured out a way to rearrange the front porch so Bruce can sit outside. A friend, Charity, saw me out and stopped by to say hello.
-Louie and I went for a walk and ran into an old friend I haven’t seen in ages.
-Catching up with Alex.
-A beautiful day and perfect rainstorm in the evening.
-A good book.
-I finally used our new grill and it is great.
