For your consideration…
This card is special to me. When I started reading cards years ago, this was the card that was presented to me. It is perfect because I recognize this place. In the beginning I used Guided meditation a lot. In one of them we were led to a place. This was the place I always went to and let my soul find peace. I am always happy when this card shows up. Today it brings a little different message in. If I had to pick a word(s), I would say it represents non-judgment.
As I meditated today, I was given the example of a women I know and worked with off and on over many years. People who know me will definietly recognize who this is and know her stories well. Let’s just say that I..most…would not model her beliefs and behaviors.
This woman used her feminine ways and sex to receive promotions. You may be thinking, “You can’t know that.” But the fact is she never was embarassed. She not only didn’t deny it, she bragged about it. She used men. And also true, she was very upfront with them. It was a business deal. She was very clear of her expectations should she give them what they wanted. As you can predict, they did not always hold up their end of the bargain. What you may not predict, is that she sued…twice…and won both cases costing the company hundreds of thousands of dollars if not over a million. Those details were court ordered sealed. She also was able to keep her job and did recieve several pay grades and the benefits that came with them guaranteed for life. This may sound despictable, dishonest. But she wasn’t dishonest. She was always very clear on what she wanted and what she would do for it. Bless her heart.
Here is what we are asked to think about today. We can not know what leads people to the moment they are in and the decisions they make. We don’t know how they were raised, what influences their heart and mind and their intentions. Heck for all we know, part of her life purpose was to help these men learn their lessons. Or perhaps, they hurt her in another life and they are balancing out the karma. Perhaps this was the only way she knew or certainly the surest, shortest way to achieve her goals.
One day when I was complaining to my hustand about this woman, he stopped me and asked.
“Did you have the same opportunities as she did with these men?”
“Yes.” I answered.
“Do you regret not taking them?”
“NO, of course, not.”
“Then stop complaining and be happy with your decision.”
That sums up today’s message. Be purposeful. Stay true to ourselves. Do not judge what others do. We can not know the resons why and it is not our job to.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Suspend judgment. Stay true to yourself.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day mostly. It was sunny when Louie and I left for a walk. Suddenly we saw a wall of rain coming at us. We were blessed to be in front of a yard with lots of pines that protected us. We barely got wetby the rain but Louie loved the puddle as we continued our walk home.
-Catching up with Alex, Cathy, and Jackie.
-A good book.
-Alex and Amelia would laugh at Louie. He is just like them. He wants to stay in the air conditioning until it cools down in the evening. I think he is a bit spoiled.
