For your consideration…

Love, true love, can not be quantified. But still, we are asked to think about how we might measure it.

It is easy to know and feel love when all is shiny and bright, and all is well. But what about when times are just ordinary or even tough. How do we feel then.? True love is steadfast during adversity, disappointment, ugliness, silence, change, distance, and even death.

True love does not die because only love is real. How we love is the measure of who we really are.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Love with our whole heart no matter what.

What made me smile yesterday…

-The last two pets we had were terrified of storms and fireworks. My puppy, Louie, sat fascinated looking out the window watching a thunderstorm and soon as I let him he ran out to play in it.

-Catching up with Alex and Jackie.

-Taking advantage of some sales for bedding and even Christmas items.

-A perfect day. Lots of sun and then lots of rain so we didn’t have to turn the sprinklers on.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
