For your consideration…

Don’t you love the morning. I loved the way the sun lit this tree’s heart up.

At the heart of today’s message is “let it be.” Every person, place, or  thing…every situation…let it be.

The question becomes how do WE want to do that? How do we want to let it be?

HOPEfully it is better than when we found it. HOPEfully we want to make every moment we are present in and all that is in that moment better than we found it. How do we do that? We do that by being our very best self and with BLESSINGS.

It is easy to be unhappy with something or someone…or even indifferent…and just walk away. But is that the best we can do? Is that the way our authentic self wants to leave things? No, we want to change that energy and make it positive. So rather than just walking away, we can BLESS it and then leave it be for the highest good.

I’m also prompted to mention food and water. Many people say blessings before they eat. They attach that custom to religion. Reiki is about bringing healing energy through the hands and healing. Whatever our belief system, the heart of the matter is that blessing our food and water changes the energy. It becomes positive and more nourishing. We are asked to consider doing this with everything that we put in our bodies.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Leave every moment better than we found it.

-Bless everything before we take it into our bodies.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Lots of party preps done.

-Catching up with both my girls, Kathy, and Mary.

-Bruce had a good PT.

-Yet another social worker came. Seriously, by now I can tell them what resources are not available and I did. They all say the same thing. I think I am going to get a t-shirt made saying, “You are doing an amazing job. Your husband is lucky to have you.”

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
