For your consideration…

I am sure this message is meant for me. HOPEfully it benefits you as well.

I had never heard this phrase before I started teaching and heard my kids saying it. It made me laugh then and I still laugh when I hear it.

“You get what you get and you don’t throw a fit.”

Each day we are told to ask for the next step We are reminded that the next step is the only one we need to know. As a planner, this is sometimes hard to accept. I like to be out in front of things with plan a, b, and c. If I take a step back and think about it, I have wasted a lot of time worrying, wondering, and excessive planning.

Today’s message reminds us that what we eeed will be put in front of us and that is what we need to deal with.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be excited.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-My friend, Vicki, had some good bedroom rearranging ideas to make it easier for Bruce when he comes home.

-Dinner with Vicki and Julie.

-Catching up with Jody.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
