For your consideration…

Our actual message today is “If I knew this would be the last time….” More than likely we have thought this and/or heard others say it.

If we knew this was the last time we were going to see someone…if this was the last spring we would experience…the last car ride…the last time we would stay in our home…the last time we would speak, etc., what would we do differently?

I remember thinking this when my sister-in-law, Ginger, and I took care of our aunts. At different times, both of them fell at home, was taken to the hospital, then entered assisted living. They never set foot in their home again. I guess the question for us is, “Do we, would we want to know?” Think of what a heavy burden that would on us.

We are asked to consider today, making each moment count, making each moment the best it can be so we can live without regrets. Choose HOPE and love and have faith that it will light our path of no regrets.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Live fully present in the moment.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Lunch with Ginger.

-Eric brought my new barbeque.

-A good book.

-Getting chores done.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
