For your consideration…

We are born with free will. If we live in a country that allows us to use it, we are blessed. If we do not, it is a travesty.

Free will allows us to make choices. I would venture a guess that throughout our lives we run the gamut of ones we are proud of and ones we are not. Free will and the choices we make are key to our journey and how we grow into our life purpose.

This is a good message. It is a good reminder. But it is not the key part of today’s message.

Our message today reminds us of the importance of free will to remind us to be tolerant and respectful of the choices others make. This is not easy. Perhaps we adamantly disagree. Perhaps we can see a disaster waiting to happen. Perhaps we have already made the same mistake and have the benefit from hindsight.

Whatever the reason we disagree, we must respect the free will and choices others make. That is not to say we can not respectfully offer our advice, viewpoint, opinion, or lessons learned. It means that in the end, we have to remember that honoring free will in ourselves and others is more important than being right.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Honor the free will we are blessed with.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A PJ day.

-Relaxing outside with coffee and a good book.

-Catching up with both of my girls and Bruce.

-Albeit late, I remembered plants AJ and Will had dug up for me to plant out front. So Louie and I were out at 9:00 pm planting. I’ve checked them this morning and they are perking right up.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
