For your consideration….
Last weekend I attended a retreat I usually attend in the fall. It is always different. During one of the sessions discussing roles of women, and how we may be of service to young women to make their path easier, I was suddenly given a message that literally consumed me. As I hesitated on sharing it, I could feel my throat tighten. So ultimately I shared the message as it was given to me. I am not sure why I did not share the same message with you here but am prompted to do so now.
The message is this: “Mother Earth is a direct reflection, a mirror image, of women. As women are treated so it goes with Mother Earth. When women stand up in their power, so Mother Earth will stand in hers. Using her power she will take back what she needs to heal as women do the same. “
In each generation there is talk and movements regarding woman’s rights. Each generation tries to figure out how they can pick up the burdens of the women before them and carry them to further advancement.
The mistake is the passing of this mantle of burden. We need not ask our daughters to pick it up. All they need do is stand up and step over it. They need only stand in the power they already have. They do not have to fight for it. They do not have to justify it. They do not have feel guilty. They just have to stand up in the power of their Authentic Self and move forward as they see fit celebrating and using their Divine Wisdom. That is the HOPE.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate. Remember there is no judgement. What you can do is perfect. Consistency is important.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and get in those 10 deep breaths.
-Laugh and play. Relax and enjoy.
What made me smile yesterday……
-We surprised friend Mary when Alex, Peanut, AJ and I dropped in on her.
-We had a family breakfast and later a family dinner.
-Jordan joined us for dinner.
-I love a new chair I got for Stillwater.
-I squeezed in a few winks while Alex studied.
