For your consideration…

I know. This seems like a strange image for late spring. But I must say it is the perfect one for today’s message. As I said, I just deliver the message and trust that it is what needs to be posted and whoever needs to see it will. I am just the messenger.

Each time Mary and Joseph were turned away must have been very disappointing. Perhaps they were even getting desperate. For sure they were not looking for a manger. Yet that is where they found shelter. And of course, we now know it was perfect and critical to the Christmas story.

This is a perfect example for our message today. When we are told there is no room…in the car, on the bus, in a hotel, in a class or school, job available, etc.., is not an indication of tragedy. We can sweep our disappointment away. We can turn our attitude to gratitude because our Guidance is looking out for us. There may not be any room for us now because this is not where we are supposed to be. A better place is waiting for us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good ad the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Go with the flow. Don’t wait time and energy fighting it.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Beautiful weather with lots of sun.

-A great brunch with Tristan, Randy, Michelle, and Shannon.

-Exploring downtown Stuart, Fl.

-Easy travel home.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
