For your consideration…

Of course, it makes sense for us to question ourselves, think about our choices. After all, we are eternal learners.

Today we are reminded that there is a difference between evaluating and judging. Evaluating states the facts, the what is. Judging is all about opinions.

Our message today tells us to be gentle with ourselves. What is done is done. Evaluate it, learn what works and what doesn’t without judgement. File it away and let it go.

Beating ourselves up does not serve us well. Think about it. How do you feel when we do that? Instead we are asked to be gentle with ourselves, loved ourselves and notice the difference. Indeed, it makes all of the difference.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE, action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. If we can, put our bare feet on Mother Earth. Notice the exchange of energy.

-Be gentle with ourselves. Suspend judgment.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful sunny, warm, day.

-Tristin’s graduation and celebration lunch.

-Talking to both my girls and Bruce.

-Bruce fell in the rehab home. I am grateful he was not hurt but selfishly think , “See, it isn’t that easy. He falls whether he is home or not, whether he has nurses or not.”

-Doing a reading for Jan.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
