For your consideration…

One spring my mother-in-law, Charlotte, wanted to go for a ride around just to look at all of the spring colors. Florida is always green and luscious but Michigan is very different in the spring. She explained to me that she had cataracts removed. She did not know that she was not seeing colors until after the surgery. She laughed at all of the spats she had with Hugh over color. For example, “Are you sure that pink bow goes on that yellow package?” he asked. “It is not a pink bow,” she replied.

Our message today talks about beauty and how we all see and define it differently. More specifically, we are told that beauty comes from the inside out. The more beautiful we feel on the inside, the more and deeper beauty we see around us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breath.

-Know and own our beauty.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Having my brother here.

-Bruce was in a great mood.

-Mary and Don came over. Mary cut and colored my hair.

-Andy brought the twins for a visit.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
