For your consideration…

Once again, our message today is about growth by trying new things, meeting new people, going new places, etc. Today our message is expanded via some examples.

Now let me say that I questioned and asked for different examples because I feel they limit the audience but my Guides are adamant that these are the examples.

The first example is “apps,” as in phone apps. We hear about new apps all of the time via advertisements and friends. Of course, they sound wonderful enticing us to download them. I don’t know about you but I have a lot of them on my phone. I really need to go through and figure out what I need and use. I would say that for every one of them that is great and useful to me, there are 4 or 5 that don’t and are not. Either they don’t work that well. They have too many annoying advertisements popping up during their use. Or sometimes they are fine but we rarely use them.

This brings us to the second example and part of today’s message. The example is about investing. When we invest in stocks or real estate, we should have a plan. Are we holding long-term? Do we have a buy or sell point?

We are encouraged to always be open to trying new things. But we need to also know that not all of them will pan out….indeed most won’t. That does not mean the trying is not successful. Everything we try further defines what works for us and what doesn’t. We gain experience. We learn about ourselves and others.

We always need to be ready and open to trying what’s new. But we also need to remember that some things are meant just as an experiment that we need to try and let go of. Others we may keep around for a while. Still others we will incorporate into our lives permanently for us to expand on and from.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Try, try, try…with a plan.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful sunny day.

-Shannon came over to stay with Bruce while I went out and ran some errands. Ahhh.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Jody and my sister, Lori.

-I won $30 on the Kentucky Derby.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
