For your consideration…

We are often told to be open and without judgment, to go with the flow, be ready to receive. And we often say, “I am.”

Our question today is,  “Am I really open and ready to let go and go with the flow?” “How do I know?”

We know when we have that overwhelming sense of calm. We know we are going with the flow, when we feel relaxed and without anxiety. We do not feel pressured. We have let go and have faith that all is well and exactly as it should be.

For most of us, this is hard to do. At best we do it some of the time. But our goal is for this to be a state of being…a goal worthy of working towards.

How? We do it by setting ourselves up for success by finding ways to relax and getting still. We identify what these things are and commit to doing them each day. We set ourselves up by committing to strengthening our spirituality. We can do that by reading ie.The Bible, A Course in Miracles, books with daily thoughts, advice, meditation, inspiration, wisdom, etc. We don’t have to sit down and read them straight through. But we can read a small part each day either in order or open them up and pick at random. The goal is to commit to doing it each day, giving ourselves something to focus and ponder on to HOPEfully grow.

We are told today that our Guidance wants us to be happy and full of overwhelming calm and peace. It is up to us to choose and make concrete steps towards accepting this gift.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Commit to growing our spirituality, belief system, and achieving overwhelming calm.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A visit from Bob.

-Catching up with Alex and Cathy.

-Kathy and Hilary came for dinner and a planning session.

-A good book but me to sleep early. Ahhh. This is good since my puppy likes to get up at 5:30 am.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
