“The Sun Is Always Shining Somewhere”

by Catherine Darling Hostetter

For your consideration…

Our message came in to the tune of “It’s 5:00 Somewhere.” But the lyrics are different, they are, “The sun is always shining somewhere.”

The sun is used today as an analogy. Like the sun, our blessings are always there waiting for us. We may not recognize them. We may not know where to look. They may be disguised or hidden by our ego. We may not feel like it but they are always there.

We are asked to have Faith and remember, just what we need is waiting for us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Look for those blessings. Open to receive them.

What made me smile yesterday…

-I survived.

-A good book.

-Mary, a good friend.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
