For your consideration…

Sometimes things just seem wrong. We feel wronged. Whether that is right or wrong, does not matter. Whether we are justified or not, does not matter. We have a choice to make. We always have a choice.

We can choose to sacrifice our honor, our integrity, our love, etc., and seek revenge. It is easy. Lots of people do it. Or we can take the high road. We can keep our heads held high, ignore the taunts, bad behavior, etc., and move on in faith and trust that in the end, the truth will prevail.

I love that we had this message today. It is Good Friday. Jesus gave us the ultimate example of “taking the high road.” The truth was revealed. Look how that turned out for all of us.

Always take the high road. Never sacrifice any part of your authentic self.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Always take the high road.”

What made me smile yesterday…

-It was a long drive but I picked up our new puppy, Louie. Obviously, we are biased but he is adorable.

-And obviously, we are figuring it out. He seems so scared in the house. He is a different puppy outdoors. I have figured out that he does not feel secure on hardwood or tiled floors. But he is getting braver and letting his desire to be around me win over as he follows me from room to room.

-My friends, Jul and Vicki, took good care of Bruce while I made the all day and part of the night road trip….6 am to 9 pm. I am grateful that the early morning snow squalls were short-lived.

-Lots of people kept me company talking to me; Jackie, Shannon, Lori, Bruce and Jul,, Mary, and Pam.

-I also listened to the book, The Kybalion. Loved it.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
