Window to Heaven
For your consideration…..
We are being reminded today that fear is not in our life tool box. We were not born with it. We learned it.
We are being asked to take a step back and look at fear for what it really is. It is doubt in ourselves. We do not feel we have the tool set to deal with what we are facing. We feel we are lacking.
But if we dig deeper, we remember that is not true. We were born complete and whole, exactly perfect for the life we are living. Our Creator made no mistakes.
Fear is a human emotion in a human experience where we have forgotten our Faith. Fear is the absence of belief in not only ourselves but in our Creator himself.
The next moment is going to happen. Let go of fear and anxiety and live it in your perfection. That is the HOPE.
“God has not given me the spirit of fear. My heavenly Father has given me the spirit of power, of love and of a sound mind.”
2 Tim 1:7
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate. Is there something you are worried or fearful of? Turn it into a positive affirmation and meditate one that affirmation.
-Drink lots of water.
-Take in at least 10 deep breaths outdoors.
-Journal. What is working in your life? What are you grateful for? Gratitude is a magnet for more blessings.
-Take a walk or get in some stretching.
-Read something inspiring.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-I had great students yesterday.
-I taught in a classroom where the other teacher keeps huge snakes. Yikes. To make it worse, the students are allowed to take them out and hold them during class. Why am I smiling? Talking about facing your fears and believing you will survive. Yup, that was me.
-The sun, the sun, oh how I love to see you.
