For your consideration…

This message made me laugh because it was not the original message I got this morning. But life just kept rolling along and stuff upon stuff needed my attention so that when I went to sit down and write this blog, I could not remember the message. I had to sit back down in stillness. I did not get the original message but I got this one instead…how fitting…try try again.

We are often told to not be afraid of failure because we gain valuable lessons and experience from them. We are encouraged to try again and again. But…there is always a but. Before we try again we need to assess the goal, the failure, and decide on a new plan to succeed. Doing the exact same thing again will more than likely achieve the same outcome. Included in our analysis, should be the question, “Is this the right goal? Am I on the right path?”

If the answer is a resounding “yes,” then we should try as many times as it takes. If the answer is not a resounding, “yes,” then we should feel blessed to find that out and by all means, change course.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Work YOUR plan.

What made me smile yesterday…

-St. Patrick’s day dinner with Don, Mary, and Vicki.

-Got through two months of mail and deliveries.

-Some sorting done.

-A good call with Bruce’s doctor.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
