You just have to laugh sometimes at the crazy ways that our messages come in. Today it is “flipping the mattress.”

Today “flipping the mattress” is symbolic for the need to change. Like flipping the mattress, change is not always easy. Like flipping the mattress we may not know of a good process to do it. Heck, we may not even remember we need to do it until we have a rut forming.

Flipping the mattress should be routine maintenance as is change in all things. Change helps us stay out of a rut so that we are open to learning and growing. Change helps keep us balanced even though it does not seem that way at first.

Today we are reminded that we need consider changing things up, flipping things around.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

 

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Flip things around.

 

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful hot sunny day.

-Water aerobics. I seriously have to find a class at home. Sadly, I don’t think there are many options.

-A relaxing afternoon around the pool chit chatting.

-A new book.

-Catching up with both my girls, Vicki, and Cathy.
