For your consideration…

“You’ll Never Walk Alone” is one of my favorite songs. I absolutely loved that I woke with it playing in my head and then came in as a lead into today’s message.

We are reminded pretty much daily here and elsewhere that we are never alone. Our Guidance is with us 24/7 waiting for us to ask for help and nudging us in the right direction along our path. It is a good reminder and one we should keep at the forefront of our thoughts and actions.

However, today the song is used to focus on another point…actually a couple of points. We are reminded that body language is a key component to communication. When it aligns with our words and facial expressions it is effective in emphasizing our message. It is a good thing. When we don’t have the opportunity to observe body language, there is a chance of miscommunication. We see this all of the time on social media. We are asked to remember this before we jump to conclusions.

The second point of using this song…the key point…is the “hold your head up high” line. Often when we are prone to seasickness we are told to not look down, instead hold our head up and look at the horizon. We have many messages about not looking  back but forward. We are reminded today that holding our head up high, shoulders back, is good for our breathing, our health, and our psychic….our body, mind, and spirit. It is the open posture we need for effective communication with our Guidance, ourselves, and others.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water….at least 64 ounces and/or half of our body weight.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Hold our head up high, shoulders back.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A great long beach walk.

-Lots of sunshine.

-A nice afternoon with Bruce by the pool.

-Catching up with Jackie, Mary, and Alex.

-A good book.

Note: Blessings and prayers to the Felix family while at the same time excitement for Jerry to be whole and healthy again in heaven.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
