For your consideration…

As I asked for clarification of today’s message, I was reminded of a conversation I had with my neighbor at the pool yesterday. He had a stressful event this week. He commented that he hadn’t bee sleeping well before or after the event. After over 50 years of marriage there was a formal hearing on separation. Of course with Covid, the meeting was via Zoom which he had never used and he had a difficulty joining in.

We all do this. We worry and stress about all kinds of things…big and small. We know from past experience that it will all work out one way or another. It always does. Yet we worry anyway. As a planner, this is a pitfall for me. I am constantly arranging and rearranging things in my mind even when it isn’t even a pressing matter.

Our message reminds us that this is unnecessary. There is an easy solution. Just let it go. Be still. Call in your Guidance and turn it all over to it. It knows what is the best for our highest good and the highest good of all. All the planning in the world can not be better than what our Guidance has in store for us. Worry, by its very nature taints any scenario…situation.

Today we are asked to let go of worry. Turn it over to our Guidance. Then change the picture we are carrying the negative vision of what could go wrong to a beautiful positive vision of everything being perfect.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let go of worry. Change the vision to a positive, successful one.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Breakfast with Tom and Kathy.

-A tough but great water aerobic class.

-Sitting by the pool and on the patio all afternoon…so chill.

-A good book.

-Our Girls Friday Night PJ party.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
