For your consideration…

“It is necessary for your good health, your spiritual growth, mental health, and peace.”

What is? Our message tells us that it necessary that we learn how to control our mind, our ego. We must learn how to turn it off and notice the sound and feeling of silence.

This is not easy but with practice we get better and better at it until we can go there in the midst of noise and chaos. Just like breath, we have this peaceful place with us wherever we go. Unlike breath, we have to learn how to access it at will….mind over matter.

Of course, we know that meditation, prayer, and mindfulness are all good ways to learn to control our monkey mind, our egos. True it takes practice, perhaps lots of practice but they are sure ways to shut the mind off and get to the peaceful authentic self. But there are other ways. Being outdoors in nature walking or running immersed in nature. Or maybe we have a hobby we focus on letting go of all the junk that is constantly trying to run through our head.

Whatever we decide to do is perfect so long as we are able to control our ego, shut it down, let go of all the stuff it constantly has running through it.

When we are able to control the mind/ego, we are able to find the wisdom and peace within. We are able to converse with our Guidance. We need to be able to do this for our highest good and the highest good of others.

“If you cannot find peace within yourself, you will never find it anywhere else.”
