Merry and Bright

For your consideration…

I don’t know about you but last year…the holidays…seems like they were a long time ago. But it was just a little over 3 weeks ago. How soon we forget.

It seems like we have had a lot of messages encouraging us to change our attitude and choose a new and positive one. Today is doing the same.

If we close our eyes or if we were blind, what would we imagine the moment, environment, scene we are in look like? Would we imagine dark and gray or ugly or would we imagine merry and bright. What would we choose for everything to look like?

We are reminded that we have a choice. We always have a choice. It is for our highest good and the highest good of all to choose merry and bright. We have much to be grateful for despite what the media would have us believe.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Mediate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Choose merry and bright.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A good walk with Cathy.

-We found a great grocery store…sort of like a small whole foods.

-We got Cathy a new phone….as always…those quick in and outs buying a new phone takes hours. Ultimately, we had to bring both phones home to transfer the data ourselves…AND IT WORKED.

-It also caused our dinner plans to change so we cooked a crab cake dinner at home. It was perfect.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
