Isis

For your consideration…..

I choose a picture of Isis today because she was a great mother and I feel the message today comes from a mother’s perspective….gentle, loving, encouraging yet firm.

Today we are being asked to untie that that binds us and get out of our own way. Through everyday living many of us have tied ourselves up and we are just shuffling along with the crowd. We are not living our truth but what we believe others expect of us. The reality is just the opposite. People are mesmerized and drawn to people who are completely and freely living their own truth.

We learned the things that tie us. But deep down our Spirit knows the truth of who we really are. Today we are being asked to break what binds us and begin to bring out our authentic selves and live our true life, our life purpose.

Where do we begin? First, we are reminded to be patient and non-judgmental with ourselves. We are encouraged to take it one step at a time. Baby steps are ok…celebrate them. Just start to notice. What feels right? What do you know is true at your soul level? Again, it is those things you are grateful for. It is those things that make your heart sing. It is those things you do that make you feel good at the soul level.

Those are the steps…clues…. towards our authentic selves. Those are the steps toward our Highest Self. Those are the steps, the clues, to our life purpose.

Dreams both in the dream and awake state are important clues as well. Dreams in the awake state, you ask? Yes, dream….play. Dreaming is perfect because we engage not only our HOPE‘s and imagination but feelings as well. When we add love and belief in ourselves, good things happen. We begin to see ourselves as we were meant to be.

As children we had lots of questions we sometimes got into trouble for asking or perhaps we were ignored. So maybe we learned to quit asking and that became a tie that binds. But we can cut that tie, and ask those important questions. Why? Who says? IS IT TRUE? If you do not feel it is TRUE at your soul level, don’t accept it. Simply turn it away and move on. That is a step in the right direction. That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate. What are those things that pop into your head? Notice and release them.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Can you take even a 10 minute walk?

-Drink lots of water.

-Take out a piece of paper. Get still. Close your eyes and just write down any thoughts or words that pop into your head.

-Notice how you feel in any given situation. If it is not good, release it as not true for you.

What made me smile yesterday….

-My girls are both good and checked in.

-I put together the new vacuum. It has some good points.

-I have a new friend, a toad. Evidently he likes living in my chives pot on the back step.

-I got some packing done for Stillwater.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
