For your consideration…
I have to laugh. If we are open, we find that we get inspiration and Guidance constantly in all kinds of ways. As I asked for clarification to today’s message, I was reminded of a conversation with my daughter Alex, who flies for the Navy. During a pretty routine conversation, I asked about the weather during her flight. She flies out of NAS Whidbey Island and the Washington weather can be misty and cloudy. She responded to me, “Mom, that is below the clouds. We fly above where it’s always sunny.”
That comment is the metaphor we are given today for our life. It may or may not be cloudy outside. We may or may not feel gloomy, sad, depressed, etc. Our ego. Our mind always has an opinion weighing in. But we can choose to override it. We can choose to defer to our authentic self…above the clouds where it is always sunny…loving, and HOPEful.
We have a choice. We always have a choice.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Defer to our authentic self.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A chill day.
-A good book.
-Catching up with Alex. Bruce’s headphone missing cord mystery solved.
-Catching up with my brother who recommended a new series that my friend, Vickie, and I watched.
-Some cards done.
-Suitcase packed.
