For your consideration…
Today’s message is short. It is a task.
The message is exactly this, “Love is better than this.”
We are asked to write this affirmation down and put it in our pocket or write it on our hand. Each time we are disgusted, irritated, angry…basicly anytime we are tempted to not be our best self…we are to read this and choose to change our energy.
I know I will probably do this many times as I try to get lots done this week. For sure, when my husband, Bruce, comes out with his walker and stands in the middle of the kitchen so I can not get to the frig, stove, down the hall….the worse possible spot, I will affirm. “Chris, love is better than this.” This being much better than, “You can not stand here.” Or, “Find a spot and this isn’t it.”
Love makes every moment better and fuller. We know this. We are asked to affirm it and choose it. We have a choice. We always have a choice.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Affirm...when we need to…“Love is better than this.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
What made me smile yesterday…
-Mary and Don came for dinner.
-Mary cut our hair and colored mine. Ahhh.
-Catching up with Alex.
-Kathy is home from the hospital.
-Finished my book.
