For your consideration…

Pristine…unspoiled…nothing out of place. We can appreciate the beauty. But how does it make you feel? What images does it invoke? What dreams does it inspire? What memories does it bring to the surface? Does it ring true to our real life?

Real life is not pristine. It can be messy. We make mistakes.

Our message today tells us that our mistakes are nothing to be afraid or ashamed of. They are lessons that have built our character. They make us unique as do our achievements. Mistakes and achievements are two side of the same coin.

The bottom line is we are not pristine and we shouldn’t want to be. Those achievements AND mistakes did not spoil us. They built us and differentiated us from everyone else. They built our character. It made us attractive because we do inspire memories, represent real life people can relate to, and see the character in others.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Celebrate you.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Up early.

-Costco shopping done.

-Made a trip out to Dexter and got Moose’s dog collar.

-Saw Mac, AJ, Moose and, of course, their paw babies.

-Caught up with Cathy.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
