There's more than one way to skin a cat. | Southern sayings, Southern words, Southern phrases

For your consideration…

I am not sure who this message is for today but I strongly feel it is targeted for someone. Having said that, we can all benefit.

We all do it. We get comfortable and set in our ways. And that is ok but sometimes we are so comfortable we don’t realize we are making our lives difficult. We keep spinning our proverbial wheels trying to solve a problem using the same tools we always use. We look at the problem with the same eyes.

Our message today tells us to take a step back. Look with fresh eyes. Think outside the box. There is more than one way to skin a cat. Consider solving the problem in a new and different way and….don’t forget to seek help from our Guidance.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Look with fresh eyes.

P.S. This is Dec. 7. In 1941 Pearl Harbor was attacked. Let us remember the sacrifices made by our men in women in the militarty that day and every day. Freedom is not free.

Battleship USS West Virginia sunk and burning at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. In background is the battleship USS Tennessee.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with both my girls and Cathy.

-Bob came for dinner.

-A new book.

-A chill day.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev.Chris
