“Authenticity is essentially how true you are to your real

personality, spirit, or character, despite the external

pressures of society’s expectations, your own fears,

worries, wanting to look good, and so on….John Bates

For your consideration…

We want to grow. We want to fulfill our life purpose. We want to be the best we can be. We work towards that. We work towards finding our authenticity and living it.

Our Guidance sees that and helps us. But today it reminds us that sometimes we get in our own way. We stall because we worry about the perception of others. People we know for a long time have perceptions and expectations that may no longer be valid. We may have developed new priorities and we worry about how they will be received.

Today we are asked to believe and have Faith. Know that as we grow and evolve, we not only serve ourselves better but we serve others better as well. May we lose some friends along the way? Sure, but ultimately being our best authentic self serves our highest good and the highest good of all.

We are asked to keep our body, mind, and spirit on the goal…finding our authenticity and purpose and living it the best way we know how.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditte/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Live your highest purpose.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Ahhh after months the final batch of boxes was picked up by Purple Heart. So grateful.

-A good mindfulness class…full of reminders for me.

-More Christmas presents wrapped.

-Catching up with Dianne and Cathy.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
