For your consideration…

We are human beings living a human experience in times like we have never experienced before in our lifetime. Our emotions are running the gamut as the pandemic has lasted longer than any of us could have envisioned.

So our message today reminds us of a couple of things. The very first being is to not judge ourselves or anyone else harshly or otherwise. Suspend judgment altogether. It serves no productive purpose. Misery does not need company.

Secondly, we are asked to pause and go within. Without judgment find out how we are feeling. Are we anxious, depressed, angry, relaxed, happy, peaceful? What are we feeling? How are we coping?

Finally, we received a reminder. We are enough. We have enough. If we do not feel that way, then the problem is with us…the receiver…not the giver.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by  HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. While we are out there we can notice the Blessings that are in front of us.

-Focus on all that we have to be grateful for.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A got the finally boxes for donation out of the basement. I have to say that it was much harder than I anticipated. I had to change my plan because of snowfall but I got it done. I was pretty sore but what is the saying, “No pain, no gain.” I will count it as my exercise for my highest good.

-Finally, catching up with Jody. I was starting to think we were going to have to go look for her.

-A unexpected “hug” from Alex right when I needed it.

-Some more wrapping done.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
