For your consideration…

I am not sure who the artist is of this picture but I wish I did. I was immediately drawn to it and knew immediately that it was the perfect picture to illustrate today’s message. Notice; the light and dark, one shoulder higher than the other to keep the balance, the strength in her core as she tries to maintain the balance and peace, hints of snakes representing the kundalini spirit, the light in her third eye and heart chakra, the orange representing energy and peace, the various blues representing spirituality and healing, the sun and the moon. Yes, this is the perfect picture.

So probably you will be surprised to know that today’s message came in via the very annoying Ethel Merman song, “Anything You Can Do.” Here it is in part’

Anything you can do, I can do better than You can do,
I can do, we can do, I can do, much much better than You.
Anything you can do, I can do better.
I can do anything better than you.
No you can’t.
Yes I can.
No you can’t.
Yes I can.
No you can’t.
Yes I can, yes I can.
The song repeats in various other scenarios. It doesn’t sound like a very nice song and certainly not what we would expect for our blog. Yet, that is the very message. Everything needs balance and the Universe sees to it that happens. It is up to us to see the balance in our own scenarios. Do you see the simple balance in “No, you can’t. Yes, you can? “
We might think this taunt is mean spirited until we stop and think about intent or what energy is born from it. How about challenge and inspiration? We have all had someone tell us we can not do something and we set out to prove them wrong. We accomplish something we may not have otherwise attempted. See the balance?
Without balance, everything would spin out of control. When things don’t quite make sense for us, consider that our God, our Guidance is balancing things out. It is Divinely Guided and Timed.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water. We need this more than ever.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. We need this more than ever.
-Consider balance.
What made me smile yesterday…
-Rain stopped and we got peeks at the sun.
-As I cleaned the basement, I came across some pennies in the bottom of the in-laws file box. They looked looked like just regular pennies but what if they were kept for a reason. I took them to be looked at and they are just that…a bag of pennies.
-Snack shopping for Bruce done.
-A good book.
Love, Blessings, and Gratitude.
