For your consideration…

As I searched for a picture for our message, I came across a book cover by Ally Rose, The Divine Pause. It is a good description of today’s message…a Divine pause. As a side note, as we have heard many times, “pay attention to what is put in front of you.” In this case, it is this book that affirms today’s message. I ordered it and will write a review for you. I always say, “I read a good book.” I have been asked to say what they are. I don’t do that because mostly they are what I call “nonsense” books. They are fiction romance or mysteries. They are meant to relax and entertain, not enlighten. Books for our growth and enlightenment I put on the reference page.

So today’s message is what I like to call a helpful hint. Our exact words were, “pause, focus and recenter.” We do this when we focus on our gratitude each day. This message reminds us that we can and should pause, focus, and recenter throughout our day and night. It connects us with our Guidance. If we find ourselves in hot water, angry, confused, depressed, etc., it is easy to remember to go within and calli in our Guidance. But what about when everything is “normal” when there are no issues? Staying focus, centered, and having our highest self in touch with our Guidance is always for our highest good and the highest good of all.

Our helpful hint is to have a reminder handy. As an example, I will give you mine. I have wind chimes that were gifted to me as a thank you gift. They have a deep sound and I absolutely love them. Of course, I can not carry them with me. But what I can carry with me is a stone in my pocket. I pick up stones when I am traveling and sometimes use those. Other times, I keep a crystal, jasper, jade, amethyst etc., whatever draws my attention for the day. I know sometimes people keep little “worry” dolls with them. This is the same concept except they are not for worrying but for peace and clarity.

Whatever works for you, is perfect. We are simply reminded that we are better working together with our Guidance than alone. Little pause, focus, and recenter reminders are helpful.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Pause, focus, and recenter reminders.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A successful turkey hunt. Seriously, what is up with all of the little turkies? It is just as much work to do a little as big one. Do one and have lots of freezer turkey ready for many meals.

-Laundry done.

-A good book.

-Catching up with my sister.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
