For your consideration…

The dictionary defines success as “the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.” That leads us to the question of who defines the accomplishment and purpose?

Certainly, well defined goals at a job tend to make things easier. And we know that as manifestors it is imperative that we are very clear on the goal and that our body, mind, and spirit are in sync.

Our message today is about the “attitude” of success. We can accomplish a goal and not feel successful just as can not accomplish a goal and be successful. Consider success may be accomplishing a step toward a goal. Or consider, not accomplishing a step or goal because we did something more important…prioritized differently. That would be a success.

There are many ways to succeed and just as many definitions of success. Our attitude is key. We are asked to celebrate our success. Without judgment they are all…big and small…a success. We need to acknowledge and be grateful for every one of our accomplishments. We are works in progress. Every breath and step we take is an experience woven into our life. That is a success.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Celebrate you.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with Lori and Jackie.

-Probably 2 days ago my husband, Bruce, said, “Chris, remember other years when big winds come and blow our leaves away?” Each year that is what we HOPE for. This year we have a friend, Don, mowing the lawn. He was here on Friday. About 3 hours after he left, the yard was once again covered in leaves. Then yesterday, big winds came and pretty much blew all of the leaves off of the trees in the yard and just like we always HOPE, blew them away. Ahhh.

-The time change always messes me up. I had a hard time starting the day but finally kicked into gear in the afternoon and got lots done.

-Reading a good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
