Masculinity

For your consideration…

First of all let me say that I know some of you will have issues with today’s message. I have often said and I believe that we can not solve the world’s problems and find peace until “the other half of the population stands up and becomes true equals.

The facts are that all of us have both masculine and feminine energy. We should honor both. In today’s world women…all over the world…are not treated as equals. Indeed many are abused and treated as property.

Having said that, today’s message is about masculinity. It reminds us that it too is Divine. I can hear the gasp of women libbers now. The point of today’s message is to point out that there is a difference between masculinity and patriarchy. Masculinity working in the positive brings strength, courage, protection, assertiveness to support people and situations. They use their power for the highest good.

Patriarchy is the opposite. It takes that same masculine energy and uses it to gain power and control. It minimizes women. It is disrespectful.

Just as women do not want to be lumped into one “like pot,” neither do men. The balance of masculine and feminine energy is the solution we need to seek.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”-

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?’

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Honor the masculine and the feminine energy.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with Jackie and Alex.

-Sold some boxes of books and fabric on Facebook Marketplace.

-Shredding, shredding, shredding boxes of paper from the basement. Ahhh, slowly but surely basement cleaning is progressing.

-Reading.
