For your consideration…

Yesterday our message was about repenting and then letting go. Today reiterates that same thing…not sure why. However, I trust there is a reason.

We were given this Fulton Oursler quote today to further emphasize its importance.

“Many of us crucify ourselves between two thieves – regret for the past and fear of the future.”

Today’s message reminds us that repenting, forgiving, and letting go is vital to our well-being.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths…even if it is from the porch.

-Take care of yourself.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Part of cleaning out the basement involves going through the boxes. Some are very quick. Some are very slow. Yesterday I started going through a box of recipe folders. I love cookbook and recipes. I could not force myself to just dump the whole box. Yikes, out of about 50 folders, I saved maybe 25 recipes.

-A good book.

-A virtual shower for Hilary.

-A baby gift I sent out last week was not supposed to arrive until today but instead, it arrived Saturday. Ahhh, the last time I used priority mail the 3 day cost was $16 and took two weeks. So I am very happy that it arrived on time.

Catching up with Alex.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
