For your consideration…

I did not take this picture but it is exactly what I saw yesterday on the side of my house and in the back. I often see blue jays and cardinals but they are always alone. Three blue jays drew my attention to every window I went to until I understood they were bringing a message.

We have had messages about blue jays before. Today’s message draws us to a specific part of the blue jay totem. I think it is because, like yesterday’s message, we are in transition.

It is said that the blue jay unites heaven and earth. It has the power to access great power by working and linking them. That sounds great. Who wouldn’t want the blue jay as their totem? But we are cautioned that the key is to master both worlds rather than dabble a bit in each.

That is what today’s message is about. Specifically, it is about developing our spiritual…heaven…side. That is why we were given 3 blue jays versus one. We are being invited…asked…to develop spirituality…not just dabble. We are capable of being powerful in our earthly life as well as our spiritual life. We have just as much access to Father Heaven as to Mother Earth. We tend to forget this.

“Blue Jays have a tremendous ability for survival with the least amount of effort. They reflect great talent, but that talent must be developed and utilized properly. If the jay has flown into your life it indicates that you are moving into a time where you can begin to develop the innate royalty that is within you, or simply be a pretender to the throne. It all depends upon you. The jay has no qualms. It will teach you either direction.”

quote from Animal-Speak by Ted Andrews

We have a choice. We always have a choice. Read, seek out searching people, seek out teachers, practice communications via dreams, meditation, prayer. Get outdoors and sit in nature. There is no right or wrong way to grow into our spiritual power.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Reach out to our Spiritual Guides and God.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A pretty day.

-Some organizing.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Kathleen.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
