For your consideration…

Our message today is about death. Perhaps our first reaction is, “Oh, no.” But it shouldn’t be. Our message today is joyous, HOPEful, and meant to bring us peace.

We are reminded that death is ONE breath away. That is all, just one breath. It takes one breath to release our spirit from our temporary home. It takes one breath for the body to relinquish our love and light back into the Universe.

When we lose people we love, the emptiness seems vast. It seems like our loved one is far away but they are not. They are one breath away. Their spirit is just that close.

Some people tend to dismiss the sense that their loved one is present but we are asked today to not do that. It is not wishful thinking. It is real. Our loved ones are always close. Communication with them is not lost.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-My “out of the box, walk on the wild side” thing was a walk in the park. I have not been to one of the parks I love all summer, so it was great to walk there yesterday.

-A new book.

-Catching up with Jackie and Jody.

-Bruce’s wound is much better.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
