For your consideration…

Again today, we are given tasks…easy tasks…but important. I think they are designed to help us get in touch with our personal power. This is important because many of us feel powerless when so much seems out of control in our world.

First, we are asked to clear our space. I know many of us started doing that at the beginning of our covid quarantine. We are asked to continue to do that. I don’t know about you but I had slacked off a bit but this week I did some more organizing in my craft/workspace. Then just yesterday my daughter brought back a great little desk chair that they decided they did not need after. Rather than bring it home and continue to search for a new home for it, I dropped it off at Goodwill. It felt great.

The second thing we are asked to do is commit to ourselves….actually do a little ceremony. You can write your own. It might go something like this;

Statement                                                             Answer

I love myself.                                                            I do

I believe in me.                                                         I do

I believe in my personal power.                           I do

I commit to myself.                                                 I do

I work to my highest ability.                                  I do

I believe in my spirit.                                              I do

I believe in Divine Timing and Purpose.            I do

I believe in my life purpose and commit to it.   I do

Write your vows down. Keep them handy. Revisit them as necessary.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Commit to yourself.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Shannon, Mac, and I sat outside and had brunch at Anna’s House. Our college freshman was very appreciative of a good meal.

-Target shopping for the dorm room.

-Errands.

-Finished a suspense novel.

-Catching up with Alex, Lori, and Jackie.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
