For your consideration…

Today’s message came in with a title and image. I have to chuckle because this TV show is one of my favorites. I know Martha Stewart garners all kinds of opinions but I love her. No matter what you think of her, no one can dispute her body of knowledge.

“Martha Knows Best” is a TV show. I think it might be relatively new because they have referenced the Covid virus in it. Each show people…known and unknown…call in for advice while Martha and her gardener work. Their banter back and forth is funny. But the whole show is packed with information.

What does that have to do with today’s message? I was given this example because every time I watch this show, I always think, “Wow, how does she know all of this?” Think about it. Martha Stewart is a really busy person. How has she acquired all of this knowledge?

Gathering knowledge…learning…is what our message is about. First, we are reminded that we are never too old to learn. Second, there is no one way to gather knowledge. Indeed, we can learn from TV, books, by doing, experience, people, computers, travel, questioniong, etc. The opportunities put in front of each and every one of us are endless each day. Seize some of them.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Seize learning opportunities to expand our body of knowledge.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day with a cool night.

-Catching up with Alex.

-A good book.

-Lots of stuff that I had ordered came. I can’t wait to play with the crafting stuff.
