For your consideration…

We all feel this way sometimes. Everything is just too much. We feel overwhelmed. Probably most of us have felt this way at one time or another during the last few months.

Why wouldn’t we? So much is out of our norm and out of our control. There is so much uncertainty, it is hard to plan or know what is coming our way next. So it is natural that we may feel overwhelmed.

The original statement by Phoebe Snow reminds us that when we are overwhelmed we sometimes have to take a step back and prioritize what is really important. Our message today is a little different. Probably we have already taken a good hard look at our priorities. And the next question is, “Now what?”

Today our answer is it is time to let go. Sometimes that is all we can do is just let go and let what needs to be unfold. Clearly it is not our plan for us but it is our Creator’s plan and he always has our highest good in his plan.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-God has already has implemented a plan for me for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?

What made me smile yesterday…

-Showing Sigrid the sights.

-Breakfast at Harvest Moon and dinner at Real Seafood.

-A trip to Bill’s hot dog stand.

-Shopping Main Street in Ann Arbor and then at the Rocket in Ypsi.

-Some work area cleared out and cleaned up.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
