For your consideration…

Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring. Whether we stress or are nonchalant about it, makes no difference. We can never know what tomorrow will be.

I love this quote by Jack London:

“I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry rot.

I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in a magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.

The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.”

Our message today tells us that the very best way we can prepare for tomorrow is to be our best self today…each moment. The self we live today carries the skills to propel us forward tomorrow.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Live fully today.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A great reading with Mark.

-A great Polish pierogi restaurant in Wyandotte. I surprised Bruce with some.

-A good book.

-Catching up with my sister, Lori, and Jody.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
