For your consideration…

For sure this message is for me but HOPEfully it speaks to you as well. We wear many hats, play many roles. All too often we shelter our authentic self. For sure, we are asked to live placing our authentic self forward. That is the goal.

Our message today wants us to remember that. However, our message today speaks specifically about our creative self. We tend to hide that self until we have confidence that we have mastered our creativity in whatever form we express it. This is the opposite of what we should be doing. We should suspend judgment and be open with our creativity. We grow and get better the more we use it. Hiding it limits us. Note to self: Chris, you don’t have to be a great writer to write. We don’t have to be great painters to paint. We don’t have to be great cooks to cook. We don’t have to be great knitters to knit. We don’t have to be great builders to build. We don’t have to be great at repairing things to repair. We don’t have to be great gardeners to garden.

Every attempt we make. every experience we have, every creative moment we take action on, adds to our expertise.

We are asked today to unleash our creativity. Be brave. Share it. Be the inviting example to others.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Unleash your creativity. Be proud, confident, and grateful for it.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

What made me smile yesterday…

-Wow, a cool day with a magnificent thunderstorm in the middle of the night.

-Catching up with Dianne, my Sis, and Mary.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
