For your consideration…

Our spirit, our soul, is sometimes hurt. Sometimes we are aware and sometimes we may not be aware of how deep our hurt is. Some say, and I believe that we are born with some ancestral hurt that was never resolved.

There are a couple of parts to today’s message. The first part wants us to focus on how we handle our hurt, our anger, our disappointment. Of course, we first have to find our root cause. Then we have to ask is it real? Is it valid? Is it true? Is it my baggage to carry? How can I heal it?

Notice that all of these questions we have to ask ourselves. This is an exercise that we have to do ourselves. We can lash out. We can blame others. That may make us temporarily feel better. But it does not change the fact that no one else can heal our soul. Our soul’s healing is a partnership between ourselves and our God. No one else.

Empathetic spectators to the hurting soul of others what to fix them. Of course, we do but it is important for us to realize that even as healers and lightworkers we can not heal another’s injured soul. What we can do is be the emotional salve and bandaid. We can hold them in our love and light supporting them while they work on their healing.

This is why no matter what governments have done throughout time, no matter what programs they have put in place, they only have short term gains but never solve society’s issues. They can be supportive. They can be a bandaid. However, real healing has to come from the desire and hard work of each individual. Each individual needs to work to identify their hurt and release it letting light and love fill the new empty space.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Identify and work to heal what hurts our soul.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Brunch with Alex and James.

-Catching up with my other daughter, Shannon.

-My granddaughter, Mackenzie’s school found a way to have a graduation ceremony for her class.

-Catching up with Jackie.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
