Change Your Perspective, Change Your Life

For your consideration…

As of late, we have certainly had a lot of opportunities to see life differently. We can see things from a new perspective.

Many of us…perhaps most of us…resist change. We are comfortable with the status quo. We have attitudes and opinions based on our filters, life experience, knowledge. We are comfortable with our reasoning. Then something happens; loss or gaining a job, difficult child, Covid-19, meeting new people, meditation, spiritual awareness, etc., and we question ourselves and some or all of our belief system.

Our message today is exactly this…That is ok. We are allowed to change our thinking, our belief system. Whether by choice, intention, or force, we are constantly having new things put in our path. Changing our perspective does not mean we were wrong. It just means we have more information and life experiences to factor into our belief system. We are growing wiser. We are strengthening our spiritual base.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece,  HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Affirm…“I am growing.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-My lawn loves to be mowed right before it rains.

-Having my family together.

-Mac’s graduation party was amazing. Delicious food and lots of friends.

-Don volunteered to bring Bruce home so we could stay and visit/

-At the last minute, Will decided to get a huge tent. It saved the day.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
