For your consideration…

And now we know. Like in anything else there are two sides, checks, and balances, to the Covid 19 virus. This forced isolation highlights the blessings we have.

Every one of you could find one to represent you and your family’s blessings. I choose this picture of my daughter’s wedding two years and 2 days ago to use as an example.

It reminds me that;

  1. She lives on the west coast and it is a blessing whenever we get to talk to, video call with, or have her and her husband come for a visit.
  2. Her wedding was two years ago. How blessed they were. No would could have imagined that two years later so many people would have to cancel all of their own wedding plans.
  3. Look at the beautiful place and weather Mother Nature provided.
  4. Both James and Alex’s parents were able to be there. If it were today, I am not sure my husband could have attended.
  5. They were surrounded by friends and family that traveled hundreds and thousands of miles to share their special day.
  6. Including their (our) men and women who serve our country.

Covid 19 has disrupted our lives. Our new norm promises to be much different. But one thing that is not different is the blessings each and every one of us has.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Count our blessings and be grateful.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with Jackie and Cathy.

-A beautiful day.

-My Whole Foods is back to normal. It no longer takes weeks to get delivery. Wahoo.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
